To promote local filmmaking and nurture homegrown talents, the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), in partnership with the BTN Association, proudly announced the Top 10 finalists of the inaugural Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) Film Festival.

Through the initiative of AFAB, these talented local filmmakers from various backgrounds and film styles will showcase their creativity and storytelling skills in original short films that celebrate the artistry and culture of Bataan.

AFAB said the festival aims to support and highlight homegrown talent while promoting the rich culture and creativity of the province.

The finalists are:

• Erwin Arceo;
• Erika Bautista;
• Emir Canlas;
• Michael Cervantes;
• Satoru Corilala; Dexter Paul De Jesus;
• John Kenney Esperanza
• Billy Ray Oyanib;
• Marvin Rei Panes; and
• Lemmor Miguel Vitug.

AFAB expressed excitement to work with the finalists in the coming days as the festival moves forward.
